Well, maybe it would be more beautiful if there weren't these strange little insect-things shooting out of every which way--! They look like little flying saucers, and it would be very cute if they weren't sort of violent.
Phew! What a rollercoaster of a month! I'm happy to report that the apartment finally looks liveable again (still no twinkle-lights though, b-but...I can't complain!), and you're all welcome to come visit for some pie--

I'm sort of glad my room is small or I really would have run out of breath...
I've been working really hard on my memory, ever since I accidentally stumbled into Iris and Want shopping--I hope everyone got their gifts..! (sorry if I got flour on you, my dear flowers!)--well, let's just say...I may have had a breakthrough!! Here's what I have so far, after experimenting in my room, cooking with Want and Throne, walking about the park...and...floating?
THINGS 'BOO HAA HAA HAA' DOES NOT DO
- cook instant meals and/or cook things instantaneously
- control the weather
- dress people
- clean up spilt food
- give gravity back
- make space suits nicer
THINGS 'BOO HAA HAA HAA' MIGHT DO
- turn people into snakes (and possibly other animals?) NOTE: THERE MAY BE UNKNOWN CONDITIONS (umm....you know like those...other things? Time of day, number of people around, whether flour is present/absent...)
T-that's sort of it so far....I don't have much yet, but it's been fun! I-if...if anyone has any ideas, maybe?? Or...or would like to help me experiment! I could...try things...on you...UMM...

But I found a temporary job in the marketplace!! Until Claw and Kitty's restaurant plans are done (DESSERT CHEF!!!!!), I'm going to be an assistant baker. Although...I haven't been allowed to bake anything yet, and, but...the owner's said they thought my bread was really unique, so...I'm sure it'll happen soon--

The new place really nice. It's a bit small, but really cosy, and definitely more than enough room for me. Maybe I'll go get some flowers to brighten the place right up.

I have a memory!!! My very first memory!!!
And I've been thinking about it for a week and have decided that it must be amazingly important! It was so sudden and it felt so strange--but...see, there was this crowd of people (and I was there) and there was this huge, dark man with with dark round spectaculars and really peculiar hair (they looked sort of like fish sticks)--and he had this arms crossed over his chest with his hands in claw-like positions over his heart and his...well, where another heart would be if we all had two hearts!
And well, I couldn't hear anything, but I swear he was saying "BOOO HAA HAA HAA"
And then I was saying "BOO HAA HAA HAA"
Maybe he was the King of our world, or something??
I need to figure out what it means...maybe a GREETING?? A RITUAL? Singing? ..d-disease??
--Toushi, I saw you, but you...you wouldn't BOO HAA HHAAA...and Kazahana! Now I KNOW I know you too! And everyone else looked so familiar...

Fell asleep in a park looking for Kazahana and woke up to a gentle rocking---the city was gone and suddenly there's a BIG GIANT SEA!! ...sorry for being a little incoherent, it's all just so strange! I still have no idea who I am, and sometimes it feels like the people around me are all starting to sort themselves out.
I'm sure my time will come though!

So let's see...two days ago, I was born--thank you again for the towel and the clothes, Washington-sama, although I still think that it was unfair that you were the only one who had clothes the whole time...and I met a few people who were born there with me, which was umm...umm......well, at least everyone was friendly!
Yesterday I mostly stayed in my new room, because, well, when I opened the door you see, a flying bottle came and hit me on the head, so I'm the girl today with a huge bump on the left side of her forehead if you see her!
Where was I? Ah!...so I slammed it shut and finally looked in the bottle to find half a box of raisins now officially the property of Whiskers! I heard a knock on the door again, but it was actually another 2 bottles...although they didn't hit me on the head this time they...um...
Day 3 and one bump, half a box of raisins, a spoon, and a white handkerchief with some sort of pattern later, and I'm going to the market with...at least Lotus agreed! Maybe someone else will come too!
I really wanted some peanut butter to go with the raisins...raisins are only good that way (although I'm not really sure why I know that), but now that I've given away my raisins, I wonder if they have ice cream?
Will anyone else be there?
The wind gently travelled up her nostrils with scents of faraway places but also of pure familiarity. The wind softly travelled to her ears, bringing voices that were so dear—tough but kind, loving, humourous, serious, and silence. She felt absolute safety, in this clearing of forest. The trees protected her.
She opened her eyes and smiled at the scene before her. Almost mundane, a rudimentary table cloth--red and white checkered even!--was underneath her and a picnic basket was before her. Her little square of domestic simplicity was surrounded by six flowers, all very familiar. She knew in her heart if not her mind that these flowers were her friends. Her companions. Her answers in times of need.
The food was strange, but to her, classic. She laughed at finding her favourite red bean paste. She purred as she tasted sweet potato. And in her quiet moment, she longed to share it with familiar eyes, a familiar smile, a familiar tough exterior she wished to crack. She raised a glass of clear water to her lips and inhaled the flowers.
She blinked, and suddenly the picnic was gone. She blinked and suddenly the sun went out. She blinked and saw a shadow flash across the corner of her eye and a harsher wind began to blow. She stood up and for the first time, was afraid.
“Hello?” she called. “Is anyone there?” She shivered and hugged her arms to herself. The wind turned cold.
A sigh came from the darkness that was suddenly before her. A sigh?
She started towards the sound but hesitated at the darkness. She didn’t like the dark. The dark was liked least of all.
It came again, only softer, like it was going away, farther and farther from her, and she suddenly couldn’t bare it. “Come back!” She cried, and unknowingly, and almost with a brashness, ran into the dimness.
She ran for eons. Past all the faces she’d ever seen in her life. A kind gaze and a soft laugh, like a brother. A serious smile of a friend. A girl she admired more than anyone, but also sometimes wished she could beat. Just once. And a boy.
Who was so much stronger than she.
The faces turned into the flowers. The flowers turned into eyes. And the eyes all converged before her into a single eye, and that eye became an orb.
She gazed at the orb with wonder, but also with hatred, and that confused her since she never knew that anything could be so beautiful and yet sparkled so coldly. She knew it was the answer though. Knew it was the key.
But when she reached out a delicate hand to touch it, the orb suddenly shone brighter than the brightest star, and then it exploded, sharp, cold, and into a million shards that all coursed through her body, piercing her skin, her heart, her mind, turning her vision red, and then the darkest of blacks.
She inhaled because she couldn't scream.
